Yes, this momma-to-be went to the ER yesterday. One of my students fell yesterday and I stumbled/got pulled down by the student. All of a sudden, I was in dreaded pain. And two of my friends saw this and asked if I was okay. Being as stubborn as a mule, I said I was fine. I knew I was lying but I didn't want the attention. Did I mention one of my friends is the assistant in my DH's classroom? She went straight down there and told him. After all my kids left, I went to my DH's room and we talked. I called the doctor's office and they told me to rest for a few hours. If the pain did not go away by 3pm to call... So I did. They didn't return my phone call til after hours. Our only option for me was the ER. So around 4:30pm, that is where we went.
I had to pee in a cup, change into a gown... It wasn't what I wanted to do with my night. The doctor examined me and pushed really hard on my left side... Severe ligament pain he said.
And he also said he wanted to check on the baby. It was our first ultrasound without sound.... The baby's heart was beating (150s - 160s) but there was no precious sound coming through the speakers.. It was reassurance for me and the DH but I wanted to hear him or her. Some really cool things we saw were his or her ribs and his or her spinal cord... Plus you could see the head and an arm too.. The doctor didn't feel comfortable saying if it was a boy or girl. That's okay we will find out in a few weeks.
I was finally released around 6:45pm and headed to dinner with my brother-in-law and his friend. It was a great dinner and hopefully the next time we go to the hospital, I will be 39 to 40 weeks pregnant.

19 Weeks :-D
How far along?: 19 weeks
How big is baby?: Size of a mango (dipped in cheese?)
Weight gain/loss?: Gained some weight.
Stretch marks?: None - Not really.. I've been putting lotion on my tummy.
Maternity clothes?: A combination of my old jeans and shirts and be bands... And some maternity jeans
Sleep?: Sleep has gotten better... Peeing a lot.
Food cravings?: I do love hamburgers, chicken, steak and ice cream
Movement?: It feels like a butterfly against my belly. :)
Gender?: Less than 3 weeks til we see our baby. A little anxious to find out if we are having a boy or a girl but I know God is preparing us for our little miracle. :)
Belly button?: Its the same... slightly changing. :)
What are you looking forward to this week?: Just to keep growing and getting closer to finding out the sex of the baby.

My Progesterone is in & I was wrong... LOL.
1st Draw: 14.9 (when we first found out we were pregnant - 4 weeks pregnant)
2nd Draw: 11.7 (6 weeks pregnant)
3rd Draw: 13.7 (8 weeks pregnant)
4th Draw: 17.6 (10 weeks pregnant) - Closer to 20!!!!
5th Draw: 15.4 (12 weeks pregnant) - Still closer to 20 but not where it needs to be.
6th Draw: 23.9 (14 weeks pregnant) - Over 20!!!! So close to Zone 2.
7th Draw: 23.7 (16 weeks pregnant) - Over 20!!!! Will hear back from the doctor tomorrow because she wasn't in today. :)
8th Draw: 26.3 (18 weeks pregnant) - Closer to 30 and I thought I was in the 27's before and that it went down... Man, I need to be more optimistic there. I am happy to say that my count is above 25 and getting closer to 30.

Weight gain/loss?: I have gained some weight but I am sure its from the Texas trip. Hahahaha.
Stretch marks?: None - My boobs are getting stretch marks if that is possible. LOL.

17 Week Appt = 2 Smiling Parents
Well... Baby E is growing. Heart is beating in the 150-160's.
Our next appointment is on July 20th. That's when we are finding out if we are having a boy or girl..... And the DH and I have a beautiful little secret to keep until we can surprise our parents... :) Yes, we have come up with a surprise that will keep all of you guessing.

We go to the doctor today!!! It is so funny that I count down until the next appointment.... But I don't count down until the next shot or the next draw.

How far along?: 17 weeks
How big is baby?: Size of an onion
Weight gain/loss?: I have stayed roughly the same since the last appointment.
Stretch marks?: None - My boobs are getting stretch marks if that is possible. LOL.
Maternity clothes?: A combination of my old jeans and shirts and be bands... And some maternity jeans
Sleep?: Still not great... I have the pillows and what not... Still cannot get comfortable.
Food cravings?: None so far....
Movement?: None so far
Gender?: We won't know until my birthday. A little anxious but I know God is preparing us for our little miracle. :)

What are you looking forward to this week?: We go to the doctor in less than a week!!!! Morning Sickness to hopefully stop. Really bad cramps to go away cuz of the Zofran, progesterone shots & being pregnant.

16 weeks & going strong....
Let's rewind to last week Thursday where I threw up twice in one day. It was quite painful and saw some blood. Then last week Friday I did the same thing. The doctor didn't worry too much about the blood... She wanted to change my meds. So starting last week Friday to this morning, I hadn't thrown up.... Around 10am this morning, everything changed. I'm not sure if it was cuz I felt bad for our dog who also got sick or what.... But I got sick and its been painful. I've been able to keep down some cornbread and 1/2 a bottle of Gatorade. To make things worse, the DH isn't here. I hate going through this without him. Though he cannot do anything for me, it is just nice to know he is there. Plus he can keep Zoey entertained so she isn't trying to stick her nose into the toilet. Just what I would need, Zoey eating out of the toilet as I am throwing up. YUCK!!
Please keep me in your prayers. I really thought being in my 16th week and in the 2nd trimester, I wouldn't be puking still.

Baby spoiled already... :)
So my in-laws decided to give my DH a glider and ottoman for Father's Day. I got to pick it out and it is comfy. It is in this beautiful chocolate brown. :) We do have it in the nursery but we haven't taken it out of plastic (glider) or box (ottoman).
My mother and stepdad are purchasing the 4 in 1 crib w/changer, Nali Jungle bedding and mattress. And yesterday/today, we found out that my nana and papa are picking up the tab for the dresser and toy chest.
This baby hasn't even been born yet and is already spoiled. :)
God is so good. We are so blessed.
PS On our 1 year wedding anniversary, the DH and I are going to be working on something special for our family and friends. I am quite excited about it.
