Progesterone Results are In - (The fastest so far)!!

1st Draw: 14.9 (when we first found out we were pregnant)
2nd Draw: 11.7 (two weeks after that)
3rd Draw: 13.7 (two weeks ago)
4th Draw: 17.6 (this week) - Closer to 20!!!!

One of my co-workers swears my pants look tighter in my belly region but not my butt. I feel that my tummy is growing a bump and I jokingly compare it to the DH's belly. Don't tell him that. LOL.

Glad the baby is doing well. I've been eating healthier and we purchased a pregnancy pillow today. Here's to a good night's sleep. :)

What are you looking forward to this week?: Having my belly grow and grow. We go back to the doctor on May 19th. :)

Reassurance

Today we heard and saw our baby for the second time. We are 9 weeks and 4 days. The baby's heart rate was 188. :) Very strong. It was awesome too cuz she or he wiggled when I laughed. We go back in 4 weeks, which would be 13 weeks.

Looking forward to telling my family on Mother's Day!!

Almost Holy Thursday

Tomorrow the DH and I will be going to the dr again. Just a little nervous to go to the doctor and make sure there is a baby in me. Has anyone ever felt this way? I've been hearing these sad stories lately and I think they are getting the best of me. Just praying the baby is well and healthy. Isn't that what every mother and father want?

What are you looking forward to this week?: Holy Week has started. Holy Thursday will be when we see the baby for the second time!!! :)

Prayers for the Carr Family

Yesterday I received an email that stopped me in my tracks. Two people I know that have also struggled with fertility lost their baby boy days before the due date. I'm not sure how they found out but yesterday, she gave birth to her angel. Caleb Benedict is now dancing with the Lord.

Please pray for these two amazing individuals and their angel, Caleb Benedict.

I'm still not sure about the "zones" or what these numbers mean. All I know is that I am glad someone created/developed progesterone shots and in a few days, we will be seeing our baby for the second time. Looking forward to not keeping this a secret from our friends and family.

9 Days To Go!

In 9 days, the DH and I will be going to the doctor again. We will be seeing our baby on a screen for the second time. I am so looking forward to seeing him or her. They used to be a dot on the screen and he or she is turning into something so precious, our little miracle.

Yesterday I had my third blood test to test my progesterone. I have not received the results yet which I have been okay with. I am being patient or at least attempting to be. I am just hoping and praying that with the intercession of St. Gerard that my progesterone has gone up and I am in a different "zone". During my last draw, my counts went down but I was still in the same "zone". Still not sure what these "zones" are but it will be okay. Gotta believe it will be okay esp since I feel it was a miracle we were able to conceive with more help from the doctors.

Also yesterday I told my boss that I was pregnant. It took a lot out of me but I got through it. And today the DH told our director and she said Congrats. She is going to keep it a secret. We are trying to get through the next few weeks before making it official at the DH's school.

Just asking for prayers that the baby is doing well and I stay healthy.

Morning Sickness

So a rough day today... Morning sickness has hit for the second day (Saturday and today). I wasn't able to make it through the day.

I haven't found anything that is tasty. Crackers sorta make me feel better.

My Dr's office called today and they gave me a remedy to try while I have morning sickness - Unisom and Vitamin B6. Here's hoping it works. The DH and I will have to pick everything up tonight.

Please say a prayer that it works.

8 weeks pregnant :) - Or so I think...

How far along?: 8/9 weeks (Sorta confused about this one.... my dr says I will be 10 weeks next week. So am I actually 9 weeks? Even though all the tickers say 8 weeks)
How big is baby?: Size of a raspberry/grape
Weight gain/loss?: I haven't gain anything. Though certain areas feel bigger. Definitely bloated.

Maternity clothes?: Not yet... Too soon.
Food cravings?: Not really.
Gender?: I'm hoping for a girl but the DH tells me all the time that he told his sperm BOY!!!!! We will be figuring it out when the time is right. :)

Pizza Anyone?

Finally pizza tasted wonderfully. Unfortunately, I had a lot of pain after eating it and not sure if I will be eating pizza again.

Counting down the days til Holy Week. Is that bad? Maybe. I am just so excited to see our little baby on a screen and hear its heartbeat again.

We feel so blessed to be going through this right now.

Definitely been praying to St. Gerard. My nana bought the DH and I medals to wear, a prayer book and two prayer cards.

Headache

So it was about 70 degrees outside yesterday. It was so nice except for the fact that my sinuses & allergies were not happy about this. I had the worst headache all day and night. Finally at 3:30am this morning, I got up and got a ice pack. I finally felt better maybe around 11am.

Looking forward to the second ultrasound on the 21st!! :)

7 weeks pregnant & the size of a blueberry

I'm 7 weeks pregnant!! :) And closer to our second ultrasound (10 week mark!!). I'm tired and get really bad headaches in the morning. I also think it is a combination of the weather changing and me being pregnant. Nothing a few tylenol during the day won't fix.

I think it is going to be so exciting to announce to our family on Easter that we are pregnant.
